A while ago there was a reported problem regarding "tcp_keepalives_idle"
with symptoms similar to

Jun 10 18:17:28 ubuntu Bucardo[8835]: KID Warning! Child for sync "dev1"
("master" -> "dev1") was killed at line 3473: DBD::P
g::db do failed: ERROR: invalid value for parameter "tcp_keepalives_idle":
10 at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Bucardo.pm line
 3473. main error: none source error: none target error: 7 States://22023

and a quick workaround solution to set it to 0 in bucardo_config

After a bit of digging I have found that tcp_keepalives_idle can not be
issued on windows version of postgres (which probably explains why I
reporter and I see it and it could not be confirmed by Greg)

This was according to
http://www.nabble.com/Re:--PATCHES--Implement-support-for-TCP_KEEPCNT,-TCP_KEEPIDLE,-TCP_KEEPINTVL-(was-Re:--HACKERS--Feature-freeze-date-for-8.1)-td815906.html<http://www.nabble.com/Re:--PATCHES--Implement-support-for-TCP_KEEPCNT,-TCP_KEEPIDLE,-TCP_KEEPINTVL-%28was-Re:--HACKERS--Feature-freeze-date-for-8.1%29-td815906.html>

How important is this parameter and what are the effects of setting it to 0?
