[Bucardo-general] Bucardo -- adding tables -- error

Hi all -

              I have installed bucardo 4.3.3. on solaris10. I could able to
add databases using
bucardo_ctl add db testdb1 host=xxxxxxxxxx  user=tester1
bucardo_ctl add db testdb2 host=yyyyyyyyyy  user=tester2

now I need to add the tables for which I am using the following command

bucardo_ctl add table schema.table db=testdb1

Failed to add table "schema.table": DBD::Pg::st execute failed: ERROR:
 error from Perl function "validate_goat": DBI
connect('dbname= testdb1;host=xxxxxxxxxxxxx;port=5432','tester1',...)
failed: fe_sendauth: no password supplied at line 58 at
/export/home/postgres/perl_5_10_0/bin/bucardo_ctl line 3402.

But it never prompted at any time for a password while adding the database
or adding tables ... can you please help
