No, Bucardo is strictly data based, unlike Slony which is transaction/statement 
based. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. Playing through ginormous 
backed-up deltas is a Bucardo weakness in this case. Have you tried 
trimming duplicates from bucardo_delta with the bucardo_compress_delta?
It may help some (or a lot)
