You should figure out why it is stopping. It's designed to restart 
automatically, so unless something is kill -9ing the MCP, or it's 
dying itself through some weird error, things should keep plugging 
along.

There's an bucardo_ctl.rc file in the scripts/ directory you could 
take a look at. Outside of that, it should be relatively safe to 
have a regular cron trying to restart Bucardo, as it should fail 
to start if an existing Bucardo is running (of course, if the 
dying Bucardo does not remove its own PID file, you'll have the 
opposite problem).
