From a quick glance, that looks like "old" code and can probably be 
commented out for now: we don't track things via deltacount{source} 
anymore:if it is needed at all, it should probably be looking at 
deltacount{db}{$dbname} or perhaps some summary of all sources. 
At any rate, I doubt that is what is making the sync not work. :(

I'm neck deep in rewriting the truncate support, so I cannot look 
into this in detail for a while.
