As long as the tables are not logically linked (e.g. with foreign 
keys), you can break them apart any way you like. Using smaller 
syncs *may* help in this case, but it really depends on where all 
the time is being taken. Certainly, smaller syncs will reduce the 
time taken to run, and thus reduce the chance of serialization 
errors. Just how long does the full sync take?
