earlier, and this COPY is not your actual problem. Are there other ERROR:<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
lines in your log prior to this?<br>

In any case I would not expect an INSERT to work where a COPY doesn't<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
work. They should behave the same.<br>
