Greg - you've officially broken my record for "shortest time for a new 
IT skill to become obsolete".  Thank goodness I had the weekend to bask 
in it. ;)

Simplification is great, and it sounds like this would have simplified 
the only tricky part of this deployment (the initial load of a huge 
dataset for a running site destined for multi-master).  I look forward 
to understanding the new mechanism.  Thanks for all of your excellent 
work on bucardo.
