Yes, triggers are turned off when adding data. You need to enable 
the 'makedelta' items in your syncs.

Two can run, but they should have different piddirs. However, there 
is no reason to run two in the scenario you have above: you can 
simply add all the databases, and have some syncs go from 1->2, 
some from 2->4,5, etc.
