[Bucardo-general] lack of documentation: how the heck do things work?

Well, posting to the list as you did is one way to fix this. You 
can also submit documentation patches (or ask for a committer bit). 
Finally, you can edit the wiki, which is (or will be) the 
canonical place for documentation.


When I get some time, I'll look into the specific items you raised.
