I think I may have found the problem. There was a crap optimization in the code
that was turning off async for the last "chunk" of SQL for a given table. This
meant that things were not async across targets, which would give the sequential
behavior you observed. This was fixed in 70b1c083a687b6b6c24d06dccd2ce4620f7bda14
So, give that one a shot when you can. :)
