[Bucardo-general] Suggestion - help issue

Hi All,

I have been trying the new Bucardo version (5.2) and it is great, however I
was expecting this issue would be resolved, but it wasn't :(

                   https://github.com/bucardo/bucardo/issues/74

The new version however does something else compared to the older versions,
and it will fail if one server is down will say something like cannot
connect to server... while older versions would only stop the syncs.

I am a developer myself, but unfortunately not a Perl one. I wondering if
this issue could eventually be fixed by doing something like "bucardo start
--ignore-databases-down=yes" and the only thing this flag will do is if the
connection throws an error, ignore that server and save somewhere that this
server was down and every I don't know maybe 5 customisable minutes, try if
that server comes up and if it does then replicate the queue that was
created while that server was down.

May this be possible? Bucardo is perfect it handle everything, however the
fact that one server can be down is a real world possibility, considering
that even Amazon Web Services guarantees 99.9% of uptime, means that this
is really likely to happen.

Thank you,

If there is something I could do to help with this, please let me know, I
will be glad!

Best regards,
Bruno Q.
