[Bucardo-general] BUCARDO and BDR

Hi Mauricio,

From my understanding, BDR utilizes replication slots and logical decoding to handle their replication; this would not prevent the trigger-based handing for Bucardo from working as well.  I would expect there could be some oddities if you were targeting the same databases in terms of potential conflicts in replay if the same rows were changed by different replication tools; I can’t speak for the internals of BDR, so not sure how their conflict detection works, but I do know they have some form of that.

If you were using completely new targets for the Bucardo cluster, I would expect no issues, but I haven’t tried this explicitly before so there could be some wrinkles that might be discovered.
